Dear family, friends, employees, volunteers, neighbors, loyal guests, and supporters,
We regret to inform you that our corn maze will be cancelled for the 2010 season, however Christmas tree
sales will begin Thanksgiving weekend 2010 as usual. Our corn maze will re-open next season, in 2011.
We feel that it's only fair that you know the real reasons why we're closed this year. Due to back
problems, I am not able to meet the physical demands required to operate this year's maze.
We believe in doing things to the best of our ability, and anything less would be
short-changing our visitors. Therefore, we have decided to cancel this year's
events, so I can focus on my health and be here for you next season.
The decision to cancel this year's maze has been a difficult one, as there are so many
folks who have made visiting our farm a family tradition. Without your patronage,
we simply would not be here. Your support and encouragement has been the
driving force which has kept us going, and we owe our success to each of you.
Our maze is truly "your maze", and your continued visits have allowed
us to operate since 2005. We appreciate your understanding
and your patience. We apologize if our cancellation
comes as a disappointment, but we hope you will
consider visiting our farm again in 2011.
Remember, we will be selling Blue Spruce Christmas trees
again this year, on a "cut-your-own" basis beginning
Thanksgiving weekend. They are beautiful
trees at amazing prices!
